Dr. John Pilavas is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist serving patients throughout the Astoria, New York area. Dr. Pilavas serves as a voluntary attending at Nassau University Medical Center, where he teaches residents about diagnosing and treating Cornea/External Disease. He’s also authored several peer-reviewed publications, presents his research throughout the United States, and reviews articles for Cornea, a peer-reviewed journal. He has also served as Sub-Investigator for several nationwide FDA trials.
